Many people are unaware of the time they could be saving at work simply by becoming more efficient with the keyboard. Familiarising yourself with these keyboard shortcuts will save you endless amounts of time and allow you to spend less time pushing the mouse around.

Windows Shortcuts

Ctrl + C – Copy

Ctrl + X – Cut

Ctrl + V – Paste

Ctrl + Z – Undo

Alt + F4 – Close the current program

Alt + Tab – Cycle through open programs. Hold shift to go the other way.

Web Browser Shortcuts

Ctrl + T – Open a new tab

Ctrl + Tab – Cycles through open browser tabs. Hold shift to go the other way.

Ctrl + F4 – Close the current tab

F5 – Refresh the current page
